Troubleshooting the 330mhz Receiver

This troubleshooting assumes that all your remotes are in working order and none are activating the gate.
  • Are there signs of insect infestation past or present inside the unit? Open up the receiver box and check there are no ants or insects past or present. If there is evidence of this then you will require a new receiver.
  • Check that the receiver is receiving a signal from the remotes by listening for a click sound coming from the receiver when the remote is pressed. If you hear a click sound then you know you're getting power and the device is still tuned in. If you try all remotes and don't hear a click from the receiver then check power voltage at the main board.
  • Is the receiver getting power and or the correct voltage required? Test with a multimeter to check power is making it to the receiver. You should be getting at least 12volts on the main gate control board where the receiver is wired to. If you don't get the correct voltage then you will have a power issue with the main control board and will need to contact our tech department for further troubleshooting. Try picking up power for the receiver direct from the battery and now see if your remotes work with the receiver. If not then you will need a new receiver.
