Troubleshooting your remote

Important: if you have an old model long range remote and a blue light comes on, be careful changing the 9v battery because if you reverse the battery when changing it you will damage the remote and you will need to purchase a new one. The new long range remote version with an orange light will not have this issue.
  • When I press the remote button the gate doesn't activate. Does the blue or orange light come on when you press any button? If yes, try re tuning the remote to the device you have, it may have dropped out. see videos above for help with tuning.
  • If no light comes on when you press any button on the remote then change the battery. Read the important note above before changing the battery.
  • If the light comes on and you have tried re tuning your remote to long range receiver, then we would recommend troubleshooting your long range receiver in case there is an issue with it.
