Then you’ll need to do the following:
- Have the arm at full extension (longest)
- Remove arm from gate bracket
- Lift arm so it’s facing up to the sky
- You’ll then need to locate the drainage hole at the bottom of the arm, see below image (this is the only one you’ll use)
- Now have the spray nozzle inside the hole
- Trigger the arm to start shortening and start spraying the lubricate inside while the arm shortens
- Once the arm is at its shortest, stop and reattach to the gate
- Now activate the unit and see how it goes
Holding the arm upright is important to allow the lubricant to go down to the bearing.
